EL PRES MAKS 50

 

For the second time in 2004 the HDB's have a member of the executive entering the "Seniors"with El Pres, John Hubband, having reached the momentous milestone to join Mao at the table of Wise Elders!!!

As one of the founder members of the HDB's,John has been a stalwart supporter of all functions and fundraising and the first to suggest "Daein somthing" when the club fell into administration.He then went on to win nearly ah the prezzes at the race night!!!

I had hoped to glean some scandal or gossip to expose about John, but the Perrugia group closed ranks and refused to divulge any derogatory tales from the trip(I think John holds too many trump cards on the others)other than Iain A explaining about the night he saw two hands appearing from the floor onto the bed followed a while later by Mr Hubband giving in to the combinatin of the forces of gravity and alcohol!!!

Apparently he is also nae master chef, having phoned Arnie after another trip to Dundee,proudly telling Arnie "I got twa Bridies while i was down this weekend,do you know how to cook them!!!!"

I,d also like to thank John for entertaining Innes on trips playing endlesss "Feechie Tig",I,m no sure who enjoys it more,taks you back ah they years eh John?

As a birthday treat I looked out some photo's of your silver screen heroine to look at through the cold winter nights John,hope these rekindle memories and you can see the differance between Sylvia Syms and Joan Sims!!!
