BIRYANI AND BOWLS

Following on the convention of doing nothing conventionally, the Highland dark Blues held their annual Christmas doo in January,....tinsel and turkey?.....not a bit of it, Biryani and bowling was the order of the day(or night) for the Heilan folks who follow the DEE.

Due to over commitment of abody's time in Decmber (OK, we left it too late to book anywhere guid!!)it wiz decided by "The Commitee" that we should have a wee soiree in January to hae a get together with the weemin and make it a late Chrismas doo.

The evening kicked aff up the Rollerbowl in Inverness with 20 enthusiastic bowlers split into teams of "mixed" abiliites to even it up,how ever no one had forseen the effect practice would have on Fiona Steel who's sterling performance saw off allcomers and gave her team the honours all round ,the same cant be said for the wee bit practice some of the guys had a couple of weeks previous at oor re-arranged meet up Rollerbowl so as to give everyone the chance to get the feel oh the balls !(oooer missus)

WINNING TEAM PLUS A COUPLE OH GLORY HUNTERS!!

Mao was a bit perturbed to find oot the cost oh a round and had to be helped to the bar wi his wallet recently returned fae Airdrie

With precision timing we have come to expect fae a Jabba run event, the bowlin culminated just in time for taxis and pre arranged hurls doon to the injuns for a culinary feast of epic proportions, dish after dish of some of the best Indian cuisine in Sneck was ferried fae the kitchens to feed the stervin HDB's,(plus an arab!!)nan breeds like rucksacks,Chicken dupiaza'a , baltis, biryanis and bottles oh bulgarian red were consumed till abody was packit foo and unable to move.

Unable to move that is, apart fae the Jamaican who decided a wee bit sport wi the staff was on the menu and duelly arm wrestled the waiter for the bill......."I dont belive it, the wee ******* didnt pay up "Jeem was complaining as we waddled off into the night to make our stuffed way home.
